Sponsored Post: Biore x Sample Store

Seeing that I have lots of time in the world now, I might as well finish up on all the delayed assignments. Today I will be doing a post on Biore's latest make up remover - the Aqua Jelly Remover.

The new BiorĂ© Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover, with its revolutionary jelly-like texture, comes in an even smoother, lighter consistency but with the same high cleansing  ability that effortlessly dissolves and lifts off more makeup in a gentle glide. This highly acclaimed makeup remover has also received multiple positive reviews from its existing users.

I have always been a fan of Biore's makeup removers. I do not always use Biore's makeup removers seeing that there are more competitive brands coming up with new makeup removers, however, I always come back to Biore at the end of the day.

The improved product benefits are:

  • Smoother jelly-like texture is gentle on skin and rinses off easily and quickly without any harsh tugging or pulling action on skin.
  • High cleansing ability dissolves and lifts off all traces of makeup effortlessly.
  • Made with 40% more moisturing essence nourishes and hydrates skin for a dewy moisturised finish.
  • Lightweight formula leaves skin feeling refreshed, with no sticky or greasy after-feel.

Now, let's put this product for a test to see if it claims what it said it would do.

These are the makeup products that I usually use.

Swatches, from left to right: Waterproof mascara, foundation, eyebrow crayon, lip tint, BB cream.

Usage directions:
  1. Pump an appropriate amount (2-3 pumps) onto hands and spread evenly over face and eye area.
  2. Massage gently to dissolve makeup.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with water. It is not necessary to remove cleansing liquid with cotton pad or tissue.
  4. For best results, apply on dry face and hands. Do not use facial cotton pad or tissue.

I used 2 pumps of liquid here.

Rinsed off and blotted with a tissue paper for clearer view.

My review

This product smells really nice (as always for Biore's products). It did what it claims to do; makeup was removed with no tugging of the skin, it's gentle on the skin and easy to rinse off. It did leave my skin feeling soft and I can just go to bed without having to wash my face to remove the greasy and sticky feeling. However, you can see that it did not remove my waterproof mascara completely. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed la but overall, it's a really fantastic product. After all I can just buy a waterproof mascara which is easy to remove. But still, a big thank you to Biore and Sample Store for sending this amazing product to me!

The Biore Aqua Jelly remover is available at all leading supermarkets, personal care stores and western pharmacies & departmental stores from April 2015. It is retailing at S$24.90.
