I have always been a fan of Biore's makeup removers. I do not always use Biore's makeup removers seeing that there are more competitive brands coming up with new makeup removers, however, I always come back to Biore at the end of the day.

Now, let's put this product for a test to see if it claims what it said it would do.

These are the makeup products that I usually use.

Swatches, from left to right: Waterproof mascara, foundation, eyebrow crayon, lip tint, BB cream.

Usage directions:

1. Pump an appropriate amount (2-3 pumps) onto hands and spread evenly over face and eye area.
2. Massage gently to dissolve makeup.
3. Rinse thoroughly with water. It is not necessary to remove cleansing liquid with cotton pad or tissue.
4. For best results, apply on dry face and hands. Do not use facial cotton pad or tissue. 

I used 2 pumps of liquid here.

Rinsed off and blotted with a tissue paper for clearer view.

My review

This product smells really nice (as always for Biore's products). It did what it claims to do; makeup was removed with no tugging of the skin, it's gentle on the skin and easy to rinse off. It did leave my skin feeling soft and I can just go to bed without having to wash my face to remove the greasy and sticky feeling. However, you can see that it did not remove my waterproof mascara completely. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed la but overall, it's a really fantastic product. After all I can just buy a waterproof mascara which is easy to remove. But still, a big thank you to Biore and Sample Store for sending this amazing product to me!

Sample Store x NIVEA Anti-Perspirant Whitening Happy Shave

Hello everybody! Apologies for the long hiatus. Was rather busy with attachment but all is well now as I'm back to school!

As you can see from the title, I will be introducing to you the NIVEA Anti-Perspirant Whitening Happy Shave.

Deodorant is an essential in my everyday life. I believe it is too, to most of you girls out there, Whether you really have body odour or not, I believe everybody would want fresh underarms throughout the day. Not to mention the very humid weather in Singapore which causes us to sweat easily!

Having fresh underarms is a thing, but having white underarms is another! Most of the women (and girls) shave their underarms. For me, I prefer plucking. Hahaha. The problem with shaving is that it causes the skin to darken and become rough . Regular shaving also damages your skin and cause irritation (like redness, itchiness and burning sensations).

What I love about this product is that it does not cause stinging sensation in my underarms unlike other deodorants regardless of roll on ones or the spray ones. And yes! My underarms really did whiten after a week of usage! It is said that in just two weeks, you will see visible whitening on your underarms, with the possibility of skin reactions to shaving greatly reduced, as skin undergoes regeneration and repair. However, I believe it varies from individual to individual! So fret not when yours does not whiten as fast as your friends who are using the same product, yours may just take a longer time!

Sample Store x Biore Micellar Cleansing Water

I have received yet another goodie from Sample Store. This round time, they have sent me a product by Biore.

I have been a big fan of Biore because of how efficient their products are. I have tried their cleaning sheets and trust me, it's da bombbbbb. Following which, I am currently using their facial cleanser and I am super in love with it. Not only me, my mom and my sister are also fans of Biore!

So today, I am introducing you to the Biore Micellar Cleansing Water. 

This cool cleansing water has cool features which make me fall in love with it the moment I set eyes on it:

Just so you know, I have very sensitive skin. Initially I thought that despite all these cool features, my skin would start to itch after removing my makeup. But no, it did not itch a single bit and I am amazed at how soft and clean my face is. 

This lightweight and refreshing makeup remover lifts off more makeup in one wipe! More than what I expected! My waterproof mascara, concealer and foundation came off in that one wipe. After which, my skin feels very refreshed with no sticky or oily feeling.

Usage

Pump an appropriate amount onto a cotton pad

Tip: I used one pump on each pad as I find the amount dispensed is more than enough

For eye makeup, place soaked cotton pad onto closed eyes and hold for 5 seconds before gently wiping off. Yay to no tugging of skin!

• No rinsing is required
• Repeat until all makeup is removed, and cotton pad is clean

This is after one wipe of my eye. Look at how much of the makeup came off!

Look at how clean my face is after using 5 cotton pads to remove makeup from my entire face. Due to hygiene purposes, I used a cotton pad on each eye. Sorry, work hazard. Hahaha.

When I first received this product, I am super excited to use it after knowing that droplets will form after applying. This is the second product that I have come across that forms droplets. And also because my skin is especially dry, I actually hope that this product really works for me.

Oh, did I mention that the container is of a very pretty turquoise-ish colour?

And the inside of the container is like this:

When I dabbed this product on my face, it gives off a very cooling sensation and the droplets form really quickly! Like within 3 seconds?! How amazing is this. And the droplets are not those super tiny that you have to look closely, it's like quite big!

I have been using this product religiously every night for a week or so now. My skin wise, it is slightly better than when I first apply this. The results cannot really be seen but it feels more softer than the usually rough skin. It definitely brightens up my skin, I looked more awake than like a zombie. Pores wise, it improved by a tiny bit. 

I do not know whether is my skin exceptionally oily or not, but when I wake in the morning, my hair tend to stick to my face and the feeling is like, "need to wash my face immediately". 

All in all, I would rate this product a 9/10.

I gave it a 9 because it is not oily and sticky (at least after applying) and also it gives off a cooling sensation. My skin condition improved slightly after only a week of application. I believe the result will be more significant after a month's usage. And not to mention, it smells really nice too!

The reason why I gave it a 9 is also because I wake up to an oily face in the morning :'(
